Anonymous Sinners

No More Hijab - a Persian version of hip hopping rap, this is an example of underground anti regime rebelliousness of kids in Iran. Check out the footage around the 50 seconds mark, where the Lady Fashion Posse Police gets her Vice Preventing assets handed to her by a bad hijabed ho who owns her own ride.

The artists who created this have several nom de guerres - like "Anonymous Sinners"

Actually quite good. Homey production values, cool tones, a hook with a doable beat tends to create a sense of solidarity with girls in the Mullah's time travelling republic.

Thanks to FoRaM sHaH for turning me on to this

2nd Guessing

Great Satan's Cent Com (Central Command for the unabbreviated) stretches from East Africa to China. It's one big mess of dysfunctional states, semi states, kingdoms fully stocked on failure, violence, young people and oil. Iraq on one edge and Afghanistan on the other and tens of thousands of American boots already on the ground in both.

The Land of the Pure is there in one corner, threatening to act up and out with nuke powered jihadis'. The catty cornered Gaza Strip is burning like an Ipod about to catch fire.

On the north 40 the last millenium's Soviet Union time republics of the Central Asia 'Stans, skip along under despotries ranging from the merely authoritarian to the genuinely insane.

And right in the middle lies Iran.

In Great Satan's military heirarchy of assignments and commands, Central Command is at the top.

Large, in charge, it features all the killing machines, regime changers and truckloads of hurt and destruction that can be delivered on the heads of freedom's enemies at anytime.

As a theatre Command it's often the last or next to last stop for military commanders. And for Admiral 'Fox' Fallon, it was the last, maybe by his own design.

"Although I don't believe there have ever been any differences about the
objectives of our policy in the Central Command area of responsibility, the
simple perception that there is makes it difficult for me to effectively serve
America's interests there"
Great Satan's VP plans to cruise the ME hood hot on the heels of Fox's resignation may be totally unrelated. Or, they may be blood brothers.

And that is the message most likely being read in places like Basharopolis and Preacher Heights Command in Tehran.

After hanging in Little Satan, the VP plans to hit up Saudi Land and Oman which just so happen to host several air bases that could be used in a regime killing regime change for the Islamic Republic.

Even if Great Satan decides not to attack Iran, it could be argued that sending signals that it just might anyway is a good raison d etre for the magical international community to man up for tougher sanctions - diplomatic and bling wise as the last chance to avoid real shooting and to create a peaceful solution to Iran's daemonic hegemonic designs and nuclear chicanery.

If the UN Security Council really wants to pass on a regime change in Tehran, this could be interpeted as the right time to pass stronger meds in resolutions.

Sending Great Satan's fav fan of regime changes and all the regional stirring up it implies, sacking the military's 'good cop' who told Esquire he was pure reason about Iran may convince the mullahs there is a high price to pay.

Arthur Herman, super saavy historian, teacher, phd and all around super smart guy writes that

"In dealing with rogue states, diplomacy can never be a substitute for, or even
the alternative to, force. It can only be effective as the extension of force
- force that is a credible threat because it will be decisive if unleashed, and
because it plainly will be unleashed should diplomacy fail.

Force without diplomacy is sheer brutality, the law of the jungle. But diplomacy without force, or the threat of force, is an invitation to chaos - no law at all."

This is significant. Great Satan prefers that encircled Iran faces a less reasonable 'Fox' and a crazy, scary and unpredictable big, bad wolf

Silver Star

"Bravery, unselfish actions and medical aid rendered under fire saved the lives of her comrades and represents the finest traditions of heroism in combat."

19 yo Monica Lin Brown is of the Great Satan's precious treasures. She serves in the All Americans. The AA is an airborne infantry regime changing division also known as the 82nd. Created way back in the last millenium, the All Americans were 1st deployed In WWI as 'Doughboys' and upgraded to parachutes in time to knock out Sicliy and chalk up her 2nd regime change (of 6 so far) in WWII.

Now as then, the All Americans are all volunteers. As a combat medic, Monica joined up right after High School with her brother.

Dodging insurgent gunfire, a 19-year-old Lake Jackson soldier used her body to shield five injured comrades after a roadside bomb struck her convoy in Afghanistan last spring. That act of bravery has earned her the Silver Star.

Army Spc. Monica Lin Brown is only the second woman since World War II to receive the medal, one of the nation's highest military awards given for gallantry in combat.

''She just did what she was trained to do"

Monica Brown, a medic, was part of a four-vehicle convoy patrolling near Jani Kheil in the eastern province of Paktia when a bomb struck one of the Humvees on April 25, military officials said.

After the explosion, she braved insurgent gunfire and mortars to reach five wounded soldiers. She shielded them as she administered aid and helped drag them to safety, the military said.

"I did not really think about anything except for getting the guys to a safer
location and getting them taken care of and getting them out of there,"
Monica Brown told The Associated Press on Saturday from Camp Salerno in the province of Khowst.

Katy Brown said her granddaughter graduated from Brazos River Charter School in Morgan at 15. She joined the Army with her brother, Justin Brown, in November 2006.

She said she is not surprised by her granddaughter's heroics.

''She's just a strong, strong young woman, and she's very caring,"
Monica Brown told her grandmother she didn't have time to be scared.

She just jumped into action..

Monica Brown, of the 4th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, said ammunition going off inside the burning Humvee was sending shrapnel in all directions. She said they were sitting in a dangerous spot.
."So, we dragged them for 100 or 200 meters, got them away from the Humvee a
little bit. I was in a kind of a robot-mode, did not think about much but getting the guys taken care of."
This is amazing. a 100 meters is a long way to go - especially if someone is shooting bullets, morters and munitions are cooking off at you the whole way. Think of a football field with an extra endzone to get the idea of distance involved. And Monica spanned the distance more than once.

Monica knew all five of her wounded comrades. She said they eventually moved the wounded about 500 yards away and treated them on site before putting them on a helicopter for evacuation.
''She is just an amazing young woman who is very down to earth and full of
life"
Congratulations on earning the Silver Star. America is VERY proud of you Monica, your service and character.

Sgt. Leigh Ann Hester, of Nashville, Tenn., received the Silver Star in 2005 for gallantry during an insurgent ambush on a convoy in Iraq.

Two guys from Leigh Ann's unit, the 617th Military Police Company of Richmond, Kentucky, also received the Silver Star for their roles in the same action.

Daydream Deceivers

There is an ancient wax like thingy from way back in the last millenium called a 'Long Play Record' or LP in the ancient tongue. Kinda round and frisbee like - they have a tiny tiny hole in the center.

They were packaged in 'Album Covers' and on the back of it they featured 'liner notes'. Ancient PR - way before the net, blogs, satellite radio and MTV, MTV1, MTV2,VH1 and videos in general.

During this Nick at Night TV Land era, before Rock and Roll was transformed into Rock, bands of Brit Cats 'invaded' the states with a wild, new sound that wiped clean and drew again the face of pop music.

Hot on the heels of the
Moptops (who were alledgedly bigger than Baby Jesus) were a gang of 5 that are still around in name today - The Rolling Stones.

On one of their first 'records' the liner notes featured a crazy, cool rant by their manager -
Andrew Loog Oldham. Appealing to the inherent 'hooliganism' of baby booming kids in the Great Satan these notes commanded the kids

"If you haven't the money for this record, then knock a blind beggar on the head
and steal his money"
In a way, this could be applied (in jest y'all - that means teasing - harmless joshing) to the latest pub by Dr Fred Kaplan.
"Daydream Believers: How A Few Grand Ideas Wrecked American Power"

Don't spend cash on it (or gift cards) - and don't try to steal it either - just hang at Barnes and Nobles on a Sunday Afta and check it out. May wanna lay off the venti tripple expresso mocha latte Chocco grande though.

To be fair the writing is flat out great, hey, it dang well better be -
this cat is a Pulitzer Prizer.

"American power seemed not merely undiminished but nearly absolute. It was a new era, time to devise new ways of seeing and dealing with the world—new strategies
that would take full advantage of what they saw as their unbridled supremacy.
The traditional paths to influence were waved off as the figments of ''old
thinking.''

Multinational diplomacy was unnecessary; the United States could go
it alone. Fine if allies wanted to come along; even better—less constraining—if
they didn't.

Nor were massive armies any longer a prerequisite to dominance. New
American-made technologies made possible lightning victories on the battlefield
with far fewer troops and much lighter armaments.

The mere demonstration of these weapons, of how quickly they can crush an enemy's army and destroy its regime, would compel other foes to change their ways and fall into our orbit or else face the same doom. "

Sweet! Sounds about right. And like Me Maw (bless her heart) who used to forget that she'd done sugared the tea once (or twice) Dr K gets sweeter.

"America would go to war against this new kind of foe; the intellectuals had a
strategy for a new kind of war. The old rostrums of stability, deterrence, and
containment were deemed irrelevant (after all, they hadn't prevented 9/11); the
new strategists called for regime change, preemption, and victory.

And their concept of victory was expansive, to include not only defeating an enemy in battle or ''making the world safe for democracy'' but—in an ambitious twist on
that age-old ideal—remaking the world into a democracy. "

And that's about where the sucking starts.

According to
Dr. Globestomping , Great Satan has actually totally suicided herself in 8 years. This boring, inappropiate handwringing is weak and lacks vision - unless gleefully listing every error and mistake (many of which can hardly be attributed to Great Satan alone) since 911.

Essentially, 911 was a fluke, an anomoly - even worse - Great Satan's faux righteousness really really hurt the feelings of veto powered ho's at the UN.

Dissed so bad they would rather sit on their hands (
or Saddam's) than to honor realpolitik era alliances or jump in and plot with the revolutionary, crazy, skoal chomping upstart Ray Banned culture spewing Americans that were breath takingly arrogant to daydream that lottie dottie everybody wanted to be free.
"There is no Universal Man marching inexorably down a common path to freedom.
Real human history is molded, not fated. . . . It is not only naïve but reckless to believe that blowing off a tyrant's lid will unleash the geyser of liberty.
It will unleash only whatever social forces have been teeming or festering underneath."

YAWN.

Only at the end does Dr Kaplan realize how retarded the entire book is - that it goes nowhere, suggests nothing, and is as hopelessly stuck in a time traveling loop as are all Iraq war arguments.

Dr Kaplan's conclusion is null and void.

Neo's overreached and
Victory like isolationism is impossible (take that Michael Desch), immoral and illogical, and his precious realpolitik is still as incinerated as the nearly 3k innocents who made it into work that late summer day.

So how can the Great Satan act out in the new millenium? Shall she be truly
Unbound like Ivo Daalder suggests? Or Michael Mandlebaum's "Case For Goliath" ?

Shall America tolerate intolerant, illegitmate regimes (many with pitiful literacy rates, no free media and an amazing ability to torment their own people, their neighbors and spawn militias that tend to sprout up in civilian heavy areas attacking any democracies in weapons range)?

Another Neo bashing book - wheeee! Throw it on the pile. Cali Poli Sci Dr. Douglas teaches that
"Otherwise esteemed analysts and pundits make the same mistakes over and
over again in recent journalistic histories of neoconservatives in the top ranks of power."

This book by Dr Kaplan may best be interpeted as a risible chronicle of his inner ethical wrestling match slide from Cold War Realpolitik's amoral, corrupt cult of stability to a new millenium amoral, corrupt cult of stability.

A tough sell - like Daydream Believers. Wait til Late spring when you can get it online for a buck.

Or less.

Internat'l Gendercide Day

International Women's Day. Much of the world and the Woman Worshipping West will celebrate this event with glowing reports of initiatives, programs and progress.

Enlightened people everywhere are and should be appreciative of this.

Yet there is a chilling curtain of intolerance that shrouds much of the world in scary places where the concept of Mother's Day has never really caught on.

Perhaps a more accurate nom de voyage for today should be International Gendercide Day.

The stats are horrific on a Hitlerian scale.

110 million to 200 million are 'missing' every year. 1.5 to 3 million women and girls die each year because of their gender.

Violence or neglect.

"In countries where the birth of a boy is considered a gift and the birth of a
girl a curse from the gods, selective abortion and infanticide eliminate girl
babies.

Young girls die from neglect, because food and meds are reserved
first for brothers, fathers, husbands and sons.

In countries where women are considered the property of men, their fathers, brothers and husbands murder them for choosing their own sexual partners.

These are called "honor" killings, though honor has nothing to do with it.

Young brides are killed if their fathers do not pay sufficient money to the men who have married them; these are called "dowry deaths" although they are not deaths; they are murders.

The brutal international sex trade in young girls kills uncounted numbers of women.

Domestic violence is a major killer of women in every country on the globe.

Women between the ages of 15 and 44 are more likely to be killed or maimed by
their male relatives than as a result of cancer, malaria, traffic accidents or
war – or all of them put together.

So little value is placed on women’s health that every year roughly 600,000 women die giving birth.

Six thousand small girls are victims of ungodly gender apartheid every day, according to the UN. Many die. Others live the rest of their lives in crippling pain.

According to the World Health Organization, one woman out of every five is
likely to be a victim of rape or attempted rape in lifetime.

And this is genocide.

These killings are not silent--- all the victims scream. It is not so much that the world does not hear them; it is that we fellow human beings choose not to pay attention. "

The American experience proves as girls advance status wise, so do families, communities, career work places - and the entire nation.

Tolerance and egalitarianism are the handmaidens of success - on every scale - personal, national and international, wealth, education, self worth.

With war against women, there will be no peace.

Deny us learning and literacy and we grant failure, intolerance, misery and rage to our own sons and daughters too.

Ignore us and neglect us. Keep your societies pitiful, needy, and backwards.

If we are not loved, we will not love back; and if we are not nurtured, we will neglect.

If we are not valued - we have no values to instill.

Women who are treated with cruelty give birth to murderous intolerants and oppressors.

If we are destroyed, we destroy too.

"Bad Atmosphere"

Historically speaking, Arab League Summits have been about as earthshaking and exciting as being forced to ride to the hardware store with paw paw to fetch something called 'dryer hose'.

Lots of mindnumbing jaw flapping, horrifically stupid local talk radio (honestly, ever tried to live through the 'Lost Dog Report'?) boring environs and precious little fun or cool.

At least with paw paw - he could be conned into swinging by DQ for a Blizzard on the way home.

This years AL shindig in Damascus may offer a treat too.

Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman , Saudi Arabia, UAE and Yemen may skip it if a Lebanese president is not elected.

Eyetye Newscats AKI reports sources in Damascus admit

"Syria is very upset with efforts aimed at aborting the summit. Syria is not
ready to consider a postponement of the summit unless it was approached by a
unanimous Arab request. This is a bad atmosphere"

The last year has been a bust for Bashar - frightened of Facebook, WMD seminars literally backfiring on bona fided reps from the Axis of Evil, Little Satan making the term "Air Defenseless Systems" a hit on the ME comedy circuit (to be fair - it's prob not so funny in Moscow, Damascus or Tehran).

The UN fixing to unleash the Hairari Trib, and in the most risible twist of irony since Britney went to number one the day she left a Mental Health hospital, Syria's most wanted murderous guest of honor got wacked right in the middle of a 'controlled area.'

PR wise, Basharopolis needs a summit where all the Arab leaders can attend and nod off in Syria's Pres for Life's boring dissertations about Arab Nationalism, Arab Unity, Arab Resistence, Arab Honor, and of course the very real threat of that missile magnetic wicked little ho down the street - unabashedly swinging her skirt high enough to almost see her goodies, busting out with bling, high tech and the most PHD's per capita in the entire ME (135 per 10K for staticians)- the one, the only - Little Satan.

All to try and con Syria that the regime is not really isolated internationally.

It's also fake as heck. Kuryat Suriyah does have a development to try and make happen. Syria really really wants Lebanon really really bad.

A Lebanon totally dominated by intell cats and agents, ruled by illegitmate semi minions like Hiz'B'Allah (who may actually have more pull in the region than Syria does thanks to a billion bucks in mullah money) controlled from secret bunkers in Damascus via Tehran.
"One Billion dollars spent on Hiz'B'Allah in Lebanon can have ripple effects as
far as Detroit and Argentina. There is no native force in Lebanon that can match
this tidal wave nor even one tenth of it. This is Iran's Petro power deployed on
the Eastern Mediterranean not a local social movement building orphanages. "

This AL Summit is not to collect collective 'got your back, bro' for Bashar's desires to regain the Golan Heights - it's to totally drive a stake through the heart of the Arab League.

This is significant. If the Arab League actually sits about in a capital that is totally bent on destroying another Arab capital - then after Lebanon comes Iraq. Bashar's betting he can pull Lebanon off - after all - the re occupier is Arab - not Little Satan or western or Al Amiriki - it is by extention Iran. Bashar is the best enabler the Mullahs have.

And Iran is behind the green curtain. Tariq Alhomayed, Editor-in-Chief of Asharq Al-Awsat in war torn Lebanon pretty much pointed it out that the Arab League's probs are

"... not with Iran per say; it is rather that we are granting Ahmadinejad legitimacy within Iran itself whilst weakening the moderates. We are also giving the Iranian president and those who support him the opportunity to interfere in our affairs, and allowing his supporters to have a legitimate standing in the eyes of the international community making it believe that they are in charge of the region's affairs."
Tariq points out that Iran has been calling the shots so long in the ME - maybe the Summit should be held in Tehran or at least invite the Mullahs handpicked little guy to address the august assembledge of auto helpless autocrats who are pretty good at maintaining their power, their regimes, their militaries - but are total screw ups on everything else.

"The Arabs can go to Iran to attend the summit and bless the Iranian regime’s
attempts to interfere in Arab issues and meddle with our states and security
and they could hand over the reins to Tehran.

Unfortunately, this is what remains of an era defined by Arab loss and fear and evasion of the necessary confrontation.

At a time when Iran’s Supreme Guide [Ali Khamenei], commenting upon the events in Gaza, said, “It is the duty of Muslims to rise and take action and the Arab leaders must strike the occupational regime empowered by the anger of their people,” we find that Iran has thrust itself in our affairs without having to fire a single direct shot to defend Arab land and rights.

As soon as the Americans toppled Saddam’s regime, Iran jumped at the
opportunity to covertly exercise occupation in Baghdad and control Iraq in a
more sophisticated manner than Hezbollah’s practices in Lebanon.

Tehran does not hesitate to undermine the Al-Sahwa Forces [Awakening Protection Forces] in Iraq, which is blatant sectarian tampering, so as to support its loyalists in the Iraqi government and the militia groups affiliated to it in Baghdad.

Sectarianism is a game that Ahmadinejad’s Iran has mastered in our Arab world.

But that is not all; when Lebanon was ravaged by Israel throughout the
summer of 2006 because of Hezbollah, Iran’s agent in Lebanon, Iran never fired a
single direct shot in defense of Beirut.

Israel struck what it deemed to be a nuclear reactor project in Syria and Ahmadinejad, from New York, declared that Iran was not involved in what had happened. "

So far, no Iranian deployments of humanitarian aid, panzers or jets have arrived to relieve their new best buds friends forever in the Gaza Strip either. Just more outrageous outrage, and la missiles obligatore'.

This low down ho down is an overt covert smoke screen to export Khomeini's Iranian revolution - to create a shi ite crescent from Persia to the Med at best - to estab Iranian hegemony at the least.

"If the Syrian regime, the Hamas leadership, [Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri] al
Maliki's government, Syria’s supporters in Lebanon, and other Arabs want to
legitimize Tehran’s intervention in Arab issues, and since rapprochement with
Iran stems from avoiding embarrassment rather than a rational decision – then
why not hold the summit in Tehran?"

Strip Tease

Like a slow, seductive, sexyful strip tease - Little Satan dashed into the strip and then dashed out teasing HAMAS.

Like a super dissed ho, heck hath no fury. HAMAS, reveling in the martyr machine working overtime, teased on with even more missile attacks - kinda proving claims that the recent border of disorder ordeal was an overt move to import snazzy new Russian style GRAD rockets (think gussied up K'tyusha's) built under licensure in Iran. GRAD has a range of about 20 kilometers (almost 13 miles for the metrically challenged).

An unlucky lucky hit on an apartment complex in Ashkelon - a burg with over 120K pop is one heck of a teasing escalation. Little Satan's ''Worst Case Scenerio" site by Gloir and Yossi reveal that

"Aborting this action in mid-stream leaves Israel with the options of air,
surface missile and artillery raids - or short, shallow forays – all of
which have long proved ineffectual. Olmert’s order to the Israeli ground
force to turn around and withdraw in mid-offensive was astonishing and
unprecedented.

Senior officers fully expected the Palestinian Hamas terrorist leaders to rush
into declarations of victory and claims that they had beaten the Israeli army
into a retreat. And indeed, Hamas staged a victory march in Gaza City later
Monday."
Little Satan's High Command has implyfully implied that the 'Big Op' is just around the bend. A full blown panzer blitz to annex and keep the Strip (hopefully turning it into a beach front Med Riviera) this time.

Ex Colonial masters in the land of Pyramids has pretty much sworn off the Strip - washing their hands of all responsibilities.

Totally retarded - After all, if an estimated 750K Gazans can diss the fence and make it into Egypt to buy snazzy moto bikes, ciggie puffs and try to trek to Cairo to meet hot girls, then surely innocents can get the heck out of a combat zone.

Egypt should NOT be getting a pass on this.

This is where the Internat'l Community is hitting the snooze button on their lazy, uninformed condemnations - to be fair though - the UN's Ban Ki Moon queered the mix by having the Boltenesque audacity to mention HAMAS's rocket attacks - as terrorist chicanery - no less.
"I condemn Palestinian rocket attacks and call for the immediate cessation of
such acts of terrorism, which serve no purpose, endanger Israeli civilians
and bring misery to the Palestinian people"
Little Satan pointed out that military rocket brigades using civi turf for para, quasi or resistence semi miltary use is a bona fided, full blown real military target.
"Under the Geneva Conventions, if a military objective, such as a missile
launcher or weapons stockpile, is placed in the heart of a civilian area, it
does not cease being a lawful military objective. The responsibility for
civilian causalities arising from the 'shielding' lies with the party that
deliberately placed civilians at risk."
Native Strippers are living in pure heck - literally frightened to death - trapped by murderous players who use them as intelligent shields
"I’m against these rockets, but I am afraid. What can I do? If I protest they
will hit me, they will kill me.”
Other tormented Palestinians openly quiz about AWOL leaders - Fatah and HAMAS guys
“Everyone is afraid now. Where is Abu Mazen, where is Haniya?”
Abu Mazen is comfy in his Capitol Compound Complex in Palestine's faux capitol Ramallah while Haniya is being hosted by Syria in Basharopolis - both safe as milk from the on again off again combat in Gaza.
"The people of Gaza are caught in between two sides. Isolated economically and
diplomatically, Hamas’s leaders appear to be trying to emulate Hezbollah’s 2006
withstanding of an Israeli onslaught while still continuing to fire their rockets, which brought the Lebanese wide-ranging support on the Arab street. "
The Kursk style kill zones set up by the HAMAS are not only geared for Little Satan - but also for their own people.
“Rockets and missiles are whistling by all the time, and the building has been
shaken by mines the Palestinians are setting off against the Israeli soldiers.”
As nearly always in the ME - intolerants have the initiative. HAMAS can fire up a Little Satan blitz anytime they want.

Little Tzipi laid it out pretty straight in answer to Italy's request for open give and take with the HAMAS
"Those who control Gaza are responsible for what happens there. We will not play
by their rules, we will change the game whereby they decide when to attack, when
to stop and for how long... We will decide when to stop our actions. That the
soldiers left Gaza today... is not the end of our activity against terror in
Gaza, which will continue."
Great Satan's Sec of State will be in town soon to try and salvage the Annapolis Awakening. Palestine has billions of bucks in hard bling riding on this. HAMAS will be sorely tempted to act out and sabotage a super weak Fatah.
"The fact is that the international community pledged billions of dollars to
them in Paris because of [the PA's] commitment to Annapolis and negotiations. If
they stop the negotiations, they will lose that international support, and
without that, they have nothing - they don't have Gaza, and they barely have
control of the West Bank."
Eventually the Strip Tease is going to end. Tzipi says
"No one has an interest in Hamas's success expect for Iran, Syria and
Hiz'B'Allah. It's success is not a matter of reality, but also one of
perception."
And when the Strip Tease ends - the percep will be naked combat.
