Whoa! Sarracuda!
Toting weaponry in a Great Satan bikini - Governor Sarah eyecandy.
Fake pic - totally Dr'd up.
A case could be made that it's entirely, spiritually correct though.

Rewriting Surge
Did Surge really work? Handing over the not so distantly claimed lost province of Anbar over to the new Iraqi Amry guys would seem to say "Heck Yeah!"
Hold up - not so fast. Like a tumour growing in the dark, naysaying gangstas of the defeat posse are unsweetly growing and have finally hit the jackpot of the sour mouthed lotto with the release of Bob Woodward's (pulitzer prized sternographer from the Watergate days like a 100 years ago) critical collection of makebelieve history " War Within "
While it is never cool to mock the afflicted, sometimes it's essential to quiz whether certain works are totally afflicted - like with Alzheimerized dementia.
This weak minded and demented driven catalog of historical slants and seemingly suspect rewrites tries desperately to prove that Surge really did suck, worthless and a shameful waste of American power (all those unnessecary Surgin' troops would have best served Great Satan and all her Iraqi freedom fans by hiding under their beds at home safe as milk - far, far away from scary, scary bad guys that could be said frikking deserved killing).
See, Surge worked inspite of those wicked neocons like Drs Frederick and Kimberly Kagan:
Responsible, wonderful, failed actors like Mookie Al Sadr who screamed for a cease fire as Great Satan magically xformed Sadr Caliphate City from a no go zone into a combat zone and then into a fun, free zone, stepped back from the Abyss.
Mahdi Army either split Dodge or selflessly gave up their lives in a glorious though incinerated attempt to xform all of Iraq into an 8th century theocracy where free choice and fun would be smothered under a wet blanket of cruelty, intolerance and the religious police.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard. These sweet foreign interlopers called off and cooled off their fed and funded Badr Corps attempt to sieze bad, bad Basra - even while Great Satan's mean puppet Al Maliki shamefully wasted his substance in a retarded attempt to de Hiz'B'Allah southern Iraq in a totally misguided attempt to uphold quaint ideas like that sovereign states are the monopolies on violence and the rule of law.
And don't forget AQII - al Qaeda cats totally did themselves in (in spite of Surge's very first Happy BDay shindig) by a curiously chaotic tactic that had nothing to do with Great Satan's surgin' killers of killers.
Such raison d retarde is actually more twisted than all those magical ciggy puffs glad bagged at a certain party grrl's stash down the street.
American GI's and Marines had nothing to do with Surge totally rocking, ya'll - it was everything except troops.
Sure. And Nazi Germany was a happy place where many precious babies were born too.
Since Obama been lauded finally fessed up Surge maybe didn't really suck to the Loofah guy on Faux News, dissing Surge may not be so tactically saavy.
Thankfully, Great Satan's preimer Marine fan Bing West (Oh! He got game!) has unleashed " The Strongest Tribe" which shows when Great Satan hits the hood - she don't play - she marginalizes retarded tribal concepts from intolerant time traveling creeps, she seeks out friends and kills enemies - often unfairly - like dropping 2 tons a minute on AQ jerks - without modesty, restraint but with the most proficent. high tech - humanitarian - military ever seen on the face of the earth.
Also Linda Robinson's new book "Tell Me How This Ends". While still crying that Iraq was a terrible faux pas (ala Brit babe Bronwyn) she hammers it out that Great Satan's Surgin' General was entirely correct and wiped clean and drew again broken, fearful bits of Iraq into a suitable debutante prepping to join up and hook up with the family of functional democrazies in the new millennium.
Ex Green Beret Micheal Yon's "Moment Of Truth" completes the triad with awesome accounts of how Surge was totally rocking and only soon to be dead (in real life or reputation wise) doofuses discount Great Satan - at their own risk.
* Great Satan's brigade commanders fed up with faked Al Qaeda 'documentaries' that video'd terrorists shooting at bombed out American vehicles as if they had won in open battle. These cats faked the "bombing" of a broke down vehic, then when the terrorists came to video their little show, SEAL snipers drilled every one with one shot apiece to the head.
* "Deuce Four" battalion created the "warrior cult" scaring the daylights out of 'scary' terrorists and revered by Iraqis.
*New Iraqi army guys? Elite Iraqi SWAT team stalking a terror cell for the murder of four American soldiers and a brave Iraqi guide.
*Think Americans are occupiers, not liberators, of Iraq? Tell that to the wounded Iraqi interpreter, who, convinced he was about to die, begged his U.S. commander to have his heart cut out and buried in America.
* Learn why so many Iraqi boys dream of becoming Americans - and American soldiers.
* Brutalized by B'Athism for eons, Iraqis hungered for strength - for real leadership entwined with justice and tempered by mercy.
The American soldier delivered. The American military - no surprise to Great Satan fans - kicked major league assets and secured gains won with precious blood shed - for the freedom of others - no less. The ultimate humanitarian raison d' etre.
Surge rocks! Surge succeeded. Surge is the true, untold story of the American soldier and the courage and values that are bringing victory for America, Iraq - and fans of fun and free choice anywhere. Anytime.
And no amount of historical rewrites will ever change that.

An RPG At A Knife Fight
Often nom de guerred a Rocket Propelled Grenade, RPG is really Russian talk for Ruchnoi (Handheld) Protivotankovye (Anti - Panzer) Granatamyot (Grenade Launcher).
The RPG-7 is a handheld, shoulder-launched anti-panzer weapon capable of firing an unguided rocket containing an explosive warhead.
RPGs are also very effective against lightly armored or unarmed vehicles and against fixed positions - or troops.
In a way, what happened at GOP Fest '08 last eve was the eq of toting such a whacking device to a knife fight.
And using it.
Plus - since McCain picked Sarracuda as his VP grrl, the CBS poll shows Mac has closed Obama's 8 point lead. Magic man's magical lead evaporated faster than 'lightly armoured' vehics in a blizzard of RPG's.
And that was before unleashing Sarracuda!

Axis (v3.0)
At a recent event featuring a rocking, rocketing screamo band (long haired, guyliner and Hot Topic'd to the nth), the sexy skinny guitarist's arsenal featured a prized 'vintage' piece of sonic weaponry called a "1969 Marshall TV 4 X 12 Cabinet".
"She looks beat up and wretched because she's been used so much. And she's been used so much because she sounds soooo good."
In a way, that could be applied to the term 'Axis.' The nom de guerre of Axis - as a descript for unfun, unfree (and sometimes nigh unhinged) regimes to buddy up and hook up to maintain and project their wicked despotic autocratic impirium delirium has been used quite a bit.
"To understand the nature of this challenge, consider that the distance between Baghdad and Tbilisi is barely 578 miles, less than the distance between New York City and Chicago.
Iraq and Georgia, both of which have democratic governments, are sandwiched between Iran and Russia, two of the most authoritarian governments in the world.
Russia has been collaborating with Iran to strengthen the latter's nuclear program and its military. It is also steadily arming Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chávez. "
"Iraq, Georgia and Colombia are battlegrounds in a new kind of international conflict that will define our geopolitical future. This conflict pits the U.S. and the West against an emerging axis of oil-rich dictatorships who are working together to push back against the liberalizing trends of globalization.
One of their prime objectives is toppling or undermining neighboring,
pro-Western democracies."
"The term "axis" has been overused in recent years, and in misleading
contexts. But Russia, Iran and Venezuela are acting very much as Japan, Italy and Germany did in the 1930s, when each took advantage of each other's aggressive moves to extend their own regional power at the expense of liberal democracy -- and, as a result, propelling the world to the brink of war.
The chessboard of traditional competitive geopolitics is back with a vengeance. Russia is the principal source for Iran's nuclear weapons program as well as the principal obstacle to international sanctions.
Between them, Mr. Putin and Tehran's mullahs clearly aim to control access to every major source of fossil energy from the western end of the Persian Gulf to the Caspian Sea.
The third player in this new axis, Venezuela's President Chávez, hopes for an oil and natural gas monopoly over the natural resources of neighbors like pro-Chávez satellites Bolivia and Ecuador."
If the ever popular - all American game of "Which one of these is not like the other" is played, the results are totally Axis.
"All three dictatorships are flush with cash thanks to rising oil prices; all three are bent on regional domination.
All three openly celebrate a model of government that is authoritarian and monolithic in opposition to Western pluralism, market-oriented economies and representative democracy.
All three run economies built on mafia-style crony capitalism.
All three denounce U.S. "imperialism," and evidently hope that the 2008 election will help to bolster their geopolitical plans.
And all three see themselves as natural allies. Since 2004, Mr. Chávez has steadily strengthened his strategic and economic ties to Tehran. Last year he joined with Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to push OPEC to cut production and boost oil prices. In addition to his Allianz Estrategica with Mr. Putin, Mr. Chávez was the one international leader who publicly praised Russia's invasion of Georgia.
Finally, all three members of this axis see the emergence of pro-American, Western-oriented governments on their borders as mortal threats and are determined to hit back.
In Russia's case, this means direct military force against Georgia. Iran
has used its terrorist proxies to sow chaos in Iraq, Lebanon and the Palestinian territories. Mr. Chávez wages a proxy war against Colombia through the terrorists of FARC.Despite Russia's nuclear arsenal, none of these states poses a military threat comparable to the Cold War Soviet Union, or even the Axis powers in the 1930s. For all their bluff and bluster, Russia, Iran and Venezuela have a relatively tenuous position in the world; for all their oil wealth their economies remain weak and unstable.
The autocratic anti dote is again a canny RX of constant confrontation and selective intervention
"A broad strategy of targeted economic sanctions and multilateral diplomacy, backed by U.S. military power -- together with a determined effort to push down oil prices by expanding supply and strengthening the dollar -- can introduce a note of sober realism to the strategy of this new axis, and force them to realize how limited and vulnerable their source of money and power really is.
However, the most important strategy right now is to secure democracy's vital new flanks -- Iraq, Georgia and Colombia. By shoring up and strengthening, rather than abandoning all three governments, the U.S. will send a clear signal that liberty, not tyranny, is the wave of the globalizing future."

Sarracuda
Way back in the last millennium, a hard rocking rock band rocked out of Nancy Pelosiville with the nom de guerre of "Heart". Fronted by two hottie sisters, one of their many hits was a tune called "Barracuda"
Loping along at a 120 beats per click manically driven by a flanger drenched guitar riff it chronicled the chronicles of a hot grrl getting chased down, worn out by players and hinting of a sweet surrender - with sharp sharp pointy teeth. "If the real thing dont do the trick You better make up something quick
You gonna burn burn burn burn it to the wick Ooooooh, barracuda! "
Every since Hurricane McCain announced his awesome choice for GOP's Vice Prez candidate the critique against such a delish bit of eyecandy - fully crunk brainiac and proven exec - have been embarrassing, weak minded, small minded and plumb pitiful.
Khaki Elephant records and repudiates rampant retardedness from certain members of the lame stream media and their sycophant fanatic fanbois and grrls (compiled and reprinted here at the last moment and great cost).
"While ABC, NBC, CBS and virtually every blog that pays homage to His
Holiness, The Obama, has spent tireless hours chopping at the image of Sarah Palin, it is not surprising that The New York Times has delivered the sharpest hacks. The "Newspaper" that hasn't endorsed a Republican presidential candidate since Eisenhower has pulled out all the stops in whacking away at the woman from Alaska with its liberal hatchet of hate.
We've seen them attack the pregnancy of Palin's unwed daughter, running stories hinting at hypocrisy. All this from a paper that holds Hollywood as a moral compass.
Oh, but that isn't enough for The Times. They have also run articles
questioning Palin's dedication as a mother, evidently because she has such a powerfully successful career. Of course, Michelle Obama's career as a lawyer, community organizer and hospital executive is the stuff of maternal legend.
The Times also reported that
Todd Palin (Sarah's husband) was arrested 22 years ago for drunk driving. Let's see, that would have been around the same time that Barack Obama was "experimenting" with cocaine.
According to The New York Times, Sarah Palin has her own share of
questionable associations, including lobbyists who brought money to Alaska. She hasn't spent 20 years under a hate-mongering paster, befriended an unrepentant terrorist, and worked real estate deals with a convicted felon . . . but, come on, these people brought money to Alaska!
Even need to mention their "She doesn't have the experience" mantra?
And the hits keep coming. It's been less than a week since McCain selected Sarah Palin as his running mate and the liberal media monsters have already taken more shots than Alec Baldwin on New Years Eve. The latest: Sarah Palin wasn't vetted properly . . . because surely the GOP should have used the mainstream media's methodology for picking a Republican Veep."
Whoa! Fact is, Sarah is the Gov of the only Great Satan state that borders two foreign nations. Sarah racked up more votes for mayor of Wassilia than Senator Biden did in his multi primary runs for prez.
Plus, Sarracuda has more executive expertise than Senators Obama, Biden or McCain.
Combined.
"Ooooooh! Sarracuda!"

Fall Weiß
At dawn on September 1st, the Luftwaffe struck at Polish airfields destroying most of the planes before they could get off the ground. With control of the skies assured the wicked Wehrmacht began the systematic destruction of railroads and the few communications nodes. From the very outset the Poles mobilization plan was seriously compromised. Before the day ended, chaos reigned at Polish Army Headquarters.
The first phase of the campaign, fought on the frontiers was over by September 5th and the morning of the 7th found reconnaissance elements of Army Group South’s 10th Army just 36 miles southwest of Warsaw. Meanwhile, also on September 5th, Bock’s Army Group North had cut across the corridor and turned southeast for Warsaw. Units of the 3rd Army reached the banks of the River Narew on September 7th, just 25 miles north of Warsaw. The fast moving armored panzer 'Schwerpunkts' of blitzing attacks left the immobile Polish armies cut up, surrounded and out of supply.
Meanwhile the closing of the inner ring at Warsaw witnessed some tough fighting as the Polish Poznan Army, bypassed in the first week of the war, changed heading and attacked toward Warsaw to the southeast. The German 8th and 10th Armies were put to the test as they were forced to turn some divisions completely around to meet the desperate Polish assault. In the end the gallant attack fell short and by September 19th the Poznan Army surrendered some 100,000 men and Poland’s last intact army.
As this was occurring the second, deeper envelopment led by General Heinz Guderian’s panzers took the city of Brest-Litovsk on September 17th, and continued past the city where they made contact with the 10th Army spearhead at Wlodowa 30 miles to the south. The war, for all practical purposes was over by September 17th. Lvov surrender on the 19th. Warsaw held out until September 27th and the last organized resistance ended October 6th with the surrender of 17,000 Polish soldiers at Kock.
The campaign had lasted less than two months and ended in the destruction of the Polish Army and the fourth partition of Poland. German losses were surprisingly heavy considering the brevity of the campaign.
German casualties total some 48,000 of which 16,000 were killed. Fully one quarter of the panzers the German committed to battle were lost to Polish anti-panzer guns. The Luftwaffe was forced to write off some 550 aircraft.
It was not a cheap victory by any means but it did confirm to the generals of the Wehrmacht that the military machine that they had built was indeed the best in the world and worthy of their confidence.
Reaction around the world on 1 Sept 1939?
France - mobilized her military and demanded Deutschland withdraw from Poland.
Great Britain - mobilized her army and RAF (the Navy was mobilized the day before) and demanded Germany withdraw from Poland.
Italy - Announced no military plans or iniatives.
Russia - warned concern for civilian population of Russian descent and fear of Polish bandits would warrant armed intervention. She also mobilized her military.
Great Satan - Demanded a halt of indescriminate bombing of towns and civilians.
Finland, Norway, Sweden and the Swiss - announced neutrality
Deutschland - "Determined to eliminate insecurity and perpetual civil war from the borders of the Reich"
Poland - appealed to Great Britain and France to intervene in honour of the Mutual Assistance Treaty of 1939.
1 September is the day an old world order was violently overturned, chock full of lessons, promises and harbingers that echo still today.
