Drone Wars

Wing-Loong!

The very same cat that enabled two of Great Satan's hyperpuissant fans to unleash "Shi Lang" upon a world worried about Collectivist China's not so Peaceful Looking Rise - recently got semi sorta kinda psychic all over PACRIM's Info Age Armsrace

"...Imagine a future, for example, in which military power comes in large part from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), cyber-attack capabilities and advanced robotics..."

Thinking bout that Attack of the Baby Carriers future sea borne battlefield with hundreds of flying robots sweetly engaged in deadly missions like on both sides!

Future battles means Great Satan has got to get future ready for commanding and dominating that battlefield - and that is a challenge bay bee!

Taiwan has announced ambitious plans for at least two types of killer drones to supplement its aging manned fighter fleet. China, meanwhile, is working on a wide range of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV); the Japanese navy spotted a small, apparently ship-launched drone over a Chinese fleet this summer

"Keep in mind that for the past 20 years, we’ve dominated the airspace where we have fought – what’s been in the air is “ours. This condition won’t last forever. Imagine a contingency where there are hundreds of adversary UAVs operating. Who and how will we be able to detect friend from foe, and how will we effectively engage the ‘bad guys’ while allowing our UAVs and other aircraft to continue their missions?’

‘If these issues aren’t addressed and solved today, we will have some enormous challenges to face when confronted with this kind of a situation for the first time in battle."

Gunpowder And Beer

The unhelpfully hurtful karaoke version of the paw paw era "I am woman in wars fog - click my links and read my blog" currently up at the ever essential Gun Powder and Lead is indeed a monster!

A monster bore

Blaming moi for the current state of certain blogging careers, self confidence, chances for happiness in life or what ev is incredibly two dimensional. Easily misinterpreted as emo heavy fact free hissy fitting chicanery that girls get blamed for all the time and yet another incorrect reason to pass up taking girls seriously.

Cheese and Rice!

Sexyful style could be considered like the ancient Warsaw Pact era's philosophy about new clear weaponry - use it or lose it.

Truly, if anyone is truly just flat out tore up from the floor up over that naughty hottie couture presentation and all the achtung bay bee action - why not shoot an email about it?

Yes yes and yes - GsGf has a posse to help maintain the site, contribute, research and has a mentor that isn't female - that may or may not crank diplopolititary action into objet d'art - so what?

Underneath that breezy gum (nic nic nicotine) snapping chatter is some seriously heavy duty work. Hard work - the research, the cats hit on to contrib exclusive commentary - the subjects covered. Dismissing it as shallow or cheating is ironically enough, shallow and cheating.

Grrlpower? No diss meant  - yet it sure wasn't GP and L that blew the lid off Ihkwan's Black Veil Brides complexes in Aegypt. Or consider stuff like gendercide. Or Universal Values. Or even the carebeful where you open this link Palestinian Panty Po Po
"There is a level of self-centeredness and willful perniciousness on display in this little collective that takes my breath away."

K. Fair enough.

Not unlike dehumanizing people - nicht wahr , to get all negative instead of sharing some hard won guidance, expertise and projecting influence in a cool fun to be with kinda way to reinforce desired behaviour

Wars Worth

The era roughly defined from 911 to Arab Spring as Great Satan's Enemy Decimation Decade yields tons of reflection and consideration.

Are the New Millennium's wars worth it?

N'ork City Great Satan fans hook up with über savvy cats about "the stewardship, and security ten years on."

Like this choice piece courtesy of Teufel Hunden's Warcraft Academy academic cadre - the same cats who gave us COINista gankstas like Dr Mark Moyer and the essential "Question of Command"- brings the bling with cirriculum cohort Professor Lacey, former All American/Screaming Eagles, Institute for Defense Analyses cat.

Dr L's office on 911 was in World Trade Center’s Tower 2 and shares a unique perspective:
In 2003, I traveled with the 101st Airborne Division during the invasion of Iraq. Since then I have been over to Iraq on multiple occasions. On each visit I ask myself: Are we doing anything here that is worth the cost in blood and treasure?

A decade ago the answer was easy. Al-Qaeda was, and remains, a vile organization that is dedicated to America’s destruction. As such, it needs to be hunted into extinction. A similarly strong case can be made for the justness of deposing Saddam Hussein’s evil dictatorship. The world is better off without a man who was responsible for murdering a million Iraqis and launching two unprovoked wars on his neighbors. That the Iraq government also maintained close ties with global terrorist groups and was rapidly reconstituting its WMD programs made its removal all the more imperative.

Now, a decade later, the world has changed and the nation confronts new challenges. We have given Iraq and Afghanistan their best possible chance for democratic growth and future prosperity. It is up to them to grasp it. This is not a time for America to withdraw from the world and retrench.
Yet it is a time to realign our priorities, reset our military forces, and position ourselves to meet the dangers and grasp the opportunities of the future.

Remember

"This is a day when all Americans from every walk of life unite in our resolve for justice and peace. America has stood down enemies before, and we will do so this time. None of us will ever forget this day. Yet, we go forward to defend freedom and all that is good and just in our world."

Every week these cats hook up each other with hot hits and big phazed cookies to peruse and then vote on their individual fancy catchers.

And now - without further adieu or a don't

Foreign Demons

Schadenfreude!

Teutonic talk for that delightful shivery delight at thoroughly enjoying a near field competitor suffering misfortune, agony or discomfort.

As best understood, sunny sunny climes centered on or around Suez were plagued with foreign devils - colonialism, the otherism - everything that made certain nation states in the new millennium consider a wheel barrow as a great invention - were the fault of the wicked woman worshiping West

Check it
Very few Arabs believed that the landscape all around them—the tyrannical states, the growing poverty, the destruction of what little grace their old cities once possessed, the war across the generations between secular fathers and "Slamist children—was the harvest of their own history. It was easier to believe that the Americans had willed those outcomes.
In truth, in the decade prior to 9/11, America had paid the Arab world scant attention. We had taken a holiday from history's exertions. But the Arabs had hung onto their belief that a willful America disposed of their fate. The Arab regimes possessed their own sources of power—fearsome security apparatuses, money in the oil states, official custodians of religion who gave repression their seal of approval.
The pathology that mattered was that of otherwise reasonable men and women who were glad for America's torment. The Americans had might, but were far away. Now the terrorism, like a magnet, drew them into Arab and Muslim lands. Now they were near, and they would be entangled in the great civil war raging over the course of Arab and Muslim history.
The Arabs barely took notice when America struck the Taliban in Kabul. What was Afghanistan to them? It was a blighted and miserable land at a safe distance.

The American war, and the sense of righteous violation, soon hit the Arab world itself. The toppling of Iraq's regime, some 18 months or so after 9/11, had brought the war closer to the Arabs.
And Great Satan brought more than the world famous M16 or M1 panzers, bay bee! She brought the alien ideas of self determination (indeed Araby has long co opted the greek term 'dēmokratia" - simply because their is no Arabic term for self rule - not a cut - just saying)
Young people in Tunisia and Egypt brought down the dreaded dictators. And in Libya, there is the thrill of liberty, delivered, in part, by Western powers. In the slaughter-grounds of Syria, the rage is not directed against foreign demons, but against the cruel rulers who have robbed that population of a chance at a decent life.

America held the line in the aftermath of 9/11. She wasn't brilliant at everything She attempted in Arab lands. But a chance was given the Arabs to come face to face, and truly for the first time, with the harvest of their own history.

Now their world is what they make of it.

Dirty Little Secret

Gun Powder and Beer!

Secrets!

Ebberdobby's got 'em!

Especially yours truly

GsGf is actually a collective of cats - 3 writers and a minion of sorts that helps with research and pics. One is a guy. It started online with the super secret neocon coven "Committee of Five"

Since GsGf has blown up beyond all recognition in the last year or so - it's time to indulge in some light shedding.

There are 4 of us The brains behind the thing is a guy actually. He's a bit older than me (Courtney) or Lauren, and helps out with the milspeak so to speak. The first names are real. We have also created a writers bible I reckon it's called to keep our chiz in sync.

My last name is confidential for the moment and I won't be found on any UGA rolls anywhere or any campus for that matter. I am really 21 tho. Since all this GsGf stuff has blown up - I would never get a job anywhere unless I quietly go away and/or keep my name safe.

Never meant to deceive anyone - thus it's time to come to X as the ancients say.
I apologize for my omission of truth and for letting it stand and I am sorry for not admitting it to gracious people who have given me multiple chances online and in real life

Just wanted anonymity for tons of Bad Choices I've made in my admittedly hedonistacal life.

In fact it's been over 2 years since moi was within M203 range of a classroom. Instead I get to spend time amidst a posse of ppl who are somewhat curious in critical thinking while scrambling in mind numbing repetitive labor for pitiful wages, gratuities and bonuses of unwanted commentary, physical critique, questionable proposals (several illegal) and a few pretty good passes.

Nom d'guerr'd as a job - this endeavor takes place with cohorts and new friends who honestly seem to be abusing or addicteding to literally everything from A to Z - alcohol to zanex. The trick seems to get dosed up on a depressant and then counter with a stimulant. Idk y exactly?

Anywrought, I've succumbed to temptation and made stupid decisions that will take time to work out. It's also true I'm addicted to a constant predication for nicotine gum.

During all the never ending dramarama - inherent with finding out way too late the ancients were correct about the wrong crowd hanging meme - my vehicle is trashed, tons of precious possessions have magically disappeared and fun intended consequences often are not so fun.

The one thing that has been a constant is getting to write. Ppl are saying and writing and doing great things and I simply must consume and produce media by working it out and crafting essay/analysis. The diff betwixt being a wannabe and a have to be? Also I'm hoping to get back into school

Individually and collectively we felt it was time to fess up. And we all are really surprised it has taken off. It's an idea thing, the collective never really marketed the brand so to speak for money.

Yet it is a hoax and as the poster girl and contact I regret perping the myth and let us speak plainly here - lying to everyone about school and the name.

And I, and the collective certainly don't blame you if you don't wanna be my friend no more.
