Recent events - the assassination of Pakistani Parliament member Syed Raza Haider and the murderous mayhem that has exploded in Karachi is highly significant,

Mainly because Karachi is a critical link in Great Satan's AFPAK supply chain.

Is al Qaeda and certain elements in PAK Military deploying a choke hold?

The result was that the military had no capacity - or will - to launch operations against the global headquarters of al-Qaeda in North Waziristan. Al-Qaeda plans much the same for central Punjab, starting with the capital Lahore.
